Musk Discussed Topics Ranging From The U.S. Deficit And Voter Fraud To Borders And Free Speech, And Responded To Questions About His Possible Leadership Of The New U.S. Government Efficiency Department (DOGE) After Trump's Victory, But Did Not Make A Clear Commitment. Musk Criticized The Government's Wasteful Spending, Calling It A "misuse Of Taxpayer Funds." Trump Raised The Idea Of Having Musk As An Advisor In An Interview In August, And Musk Subsequently Posted A Picture Of Himself As The Head Of The Government Efficiency Department On X.com, Saying He Was "willing To Serve." Although Musk's Post Was Interpreted As His Intention To Join The Trump Cabinet, His Current Campaign Efforts Can Also Be Seen As A Service. Musk Created A Super Political Action Committee Called America PAC, Which Aims To Register At Least 800,000 New Voters In Swing States, And Has Donated At Least $75 Million To It. Aside From The Aforementioned Posts And His Ongoing Campaign Efforts, There Has Been No Official Indication That Musk Will Pursue A Full-time Political Career, Which Could Be Detrimental To Stakeholders At The Multiple Tech Companies He Owns
