RDIF and BitRiver said they will jointly "build data centers in BRICS countries."The two sides announced the news at the BRICS Business Forum held in Moscow on October 18. The two sides also stated that they will work on "artificial intelligence technology" projects and strive to "increase Russia's share in the global computing power market."The two sides did not disclose whether they had reached an agreement with any BRICS countries, but they said that the world "has a shortage of space for energy-intensive data centers." Therefore, Russia and Russian companies will seek to create "new opportunities" based on their "experience" and will focus on expanding the potential of data centers and the possibility of further expanding technology in the BRICS market.
