[Green United Promoter Is Appealing The SEC's Accusation That He Participated In A Crypto Mining Fraud Case] According To Cointelegraph, Green United's Promoter Kristoffer Krohn Has Been Accused Of Participating In An $18 Million Cryptocurrency Mining Fraud Scheme. He Is Trying To Appeal His Case, Arguing That The U.S. Securities And Exchange Commission (SEC) Should Be Forced To Withdraw The Lawsuit Because Its Accusation That He Was Involved In The Sale Of Securities Is Wrong. On October 24, Kristoffer Krohn Told The Utah Federal Court That The Tenth Circuit Court Of Appeals Should Decide Whether Buyers Of The Company's Equipment Mean That They Have Joined A "common Enterprise," Which The SEC Has Used As A Basis To Accuse The Company Of Selling Investment Contracts Under Securities Laws. Krohn Said In The Appeal: "The U.S. Securities And Exchange Commission Does Not And Cannot Accuse Green Box Purchasers Of Having Any Rights Or Interests In The Profits Of Green United's Business Operations." If The Appeal Is Successful, Krohn Will Be Allowed To Defend His Case Before An Appeals Panel Of Three Judges, A Process That May Take Months To Make A Final Decision. Earlier In September, It Was Reported That Green United Failed To Dismiss The $18 Million Crypto Mining Fraud Lawsuit Filed By The U.S. SEC Against It
