【Goldman Sachs: The Bank Of Australia'S Insistence Not To Cut Interest Rates May Cause Welfare Losses To The Country'S Citizens】Goldman Sachs Economist Andrew Boak Said That The Inflation Rate Has Dropped Drastically, And The Deviation From The Target Value Is Not Much Different Compared To Countries Where All Other Central Banks Are Cutting Interest Rates. Goldman Sachs Expects The Seasonally Adjusted CPI To Fall Further In The Fourth Quarter, With An Annualized Rate Of About 2.5%. Boak Believes That There Is No Reason Why The Bank Of Australia Should Not Start Gradually Implementing Policy Normalization At The Beginning Of The New Year. He Added That As The Inflation Rate Returns To Target Values, Maintaining Current Interest Rates Will Only Cause Unnecessary And Painful Welfare Losses To Australian Households
