Investing.com – Colombia stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Industrials, Services and Agriculture sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP gained 1.72%.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Celsia SA (BVC:CEL), which rose 0.95% or 35.00 points to trade at 3,725.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Bancolombia SA (BVC:BIC) added 0.86% or 380.00 points to end at 44,480.00 and Interconnection Electric SA ESP (BVC:ISA) was up 0.80% or 160.00 points to 20,160.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Grupo de Inversiones Suramericana SA (BVC:SIS), which fell 4.69% or 1,940.00 points to trade at 39,460.00 at the close. Ecopetrol SA (BVC:ECO) declined 3.83% or 75.00 points to end at 1,885.00 and Corporacion Financiera Colombiana SA (BVC:CFV) was down 2.75% or 500.00 points to 17,660.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 0 to 0.
US coffee C for May delivery was up 2.36% or 9.40 to $407.80 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in May fell 1.89% or 158.00 to hit $8,218.00 , while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.29% or 8.50 to trade at $2,929.10 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.98% to 4,113.00, while BRL/COP rose 1.30% to 715.18.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 1.35% at 104.26.
