Investing.com – Indonesia stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Financials, Infrastructure and Agriculture sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the IDX Composite Index added 3.98%.
The best performers of the session on the IDX Composite Index were Toba Pulp Lestari Tbk (JK:INRU), which rose 25.00% or 90.00 points to trade at 450.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Mitra Pedagang Indonesia PT Tbk (JK:MPIX) added 25.00% or 19.00 points to end at 95.00 and Pt Pradiksi Gunatama Tbk (JK:PGUN) was up 25.00% or 125.00 points to 625.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Homeco Victoria Makmur PT Tbk (JK:LIVE), which fell 24.85% or 82.00 points to trade at 248.00 at the close. Sejahteraraya Anugrahjaya Tbk (JK:SRAJ) declined 13.03% or 370.00 points to end at 2,470.00 and DMS Propertindo Tbk PT (JK:KOTA) was down 12.50% or 1.00 points to 7.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Jakarta Stock Exchange by 456 to 203 and 180 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for April delivery was down 0.26% or 0.18 to $69.58 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 0.22% or 0.16 to hit $72.65 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.80% or 22.91 to trade at $2,871.41 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was down 0.33% to 16,480.30, while AUD/IDR fell 0.28% to 10,233.20.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.24% at 107.29.
