Investing.com – Morocco stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Utilities, Banking and Mining sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares declined 0.19%.
The best performers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Fenie Brossette (CSE:FBR), which rose 7.45% or 7.90 points to trade at 114.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Residences Dar Saada SA (CSE:RDS) added 4.51% or 3.52 points to end at 81.50 and Involys (CSE:INV) was up 4.01% or 3.89 points to 100.90 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Lesieur Cristal (CSE:LES), which fell 4.83% or 14.00 points to trade at 276.00 at the close. Maghreb Oxygene (CSE:MOX) declined 4.44% or 12.00 points to end at 258.00 and IB Maroc Com SA (CSE:IBC) was down 2.94% or 1.00 points to 33.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Casablanca Stock Exchange by 36 to 21 and 3 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for February delivery was up 0.75% or 0.55 to $74.11 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 0.83% or 0.63 to hit $76.93 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.50% or 13.29 to trade at $2,660.69 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was unchanged 0.01% to 10.42, while USD/MAD unchanged 0.03% to 10.01.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.23% at 108.36.
